Well, well well, new updates!??

 

Ok, we'll save the apologies for our laziness for some other time and get right to it.

RINGWORM is rehearsing and tightening up the new material for their upcoming record "THE NINTH CIRCLE"

RINGWORM is set to enter SPIDER STUDIOS in March to begin recording. Ben Shiegel (chimaira, downing pool, integrity) will be at the helm once again. THE NINTH CIRCLE promises to be RINGWORMs heaviest and sickest record to date. Imagine, JUSTICE REPLACED BY REVENGE on steroids.

 

IN OTHER NEWS....CHRIS DORA has joined the WORM once again. We are super-excited to have Chris banging the drums for us again. We can't wait to get in the studio. For those of you who arent familair Chris played on our 2001 album "BIRTH IS PAIN" and was member of RINGWORM for nearly 7 years. Besides RINGWORM, Chris also plays in Cleveland thrash band SOULLESS and Cleveland sludge-rock band GLUTTONS (along with RINGWORM  singer HF) and recently reformed death metal outfit DECREPIT (also featuring RINGWORM guitarist Matt Sorg). Chris is a busy man.

Former drummer Danny Zink can be heard tearing it up in Columbus metal band THE COAST. This band also features RINGWORM bass player MIKE LARE on guitar. Cool shit, check it out. 

 

IN RELATED NEWS...,

DEATHWISH RECORDS will be releasing a new HOLYGHOST album this summer. HOLYGHOST is RINGWORM frontman HF's sideband. Where as RINGWORM is a more full frontal attack, HOLYGHOST is an eclectic mix of different styles, forming brutal and punishing soundscapes. HOLYGHOSTs self titled 1999 demo was re-released by DEATHWISH in mid 2006. This released featured the complete 6 song demo and also included 2 unreleased songs. Cleveland sludge rock band GLUTTONS (featuring HF on guitar/vox, and Chris Dora/drums) will be recording this summer for a full-length lp on a yet disclosed label. If you're into drunken bar rock, then you'll be into these guys

 

TOURING?

Yes, RINGWORM  will be touring this summer. With who? We don't know. When exactely? We don't know. Where? We don't know. We've been getting alot of offers, and may be doing some local and close to home shows. We're focusing on getting the new record done and after that we're ready to go.
